This charming cottage is nestled in a wooded area, offering a private retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is located about 5 minutes to Hamlin Lakes North Bayou and access. The home is fully equipped and features a large secluded back yard with a fire pit, inviting you to sit back and enjoy the beauty of nature or bask in the summer sun. Come vacation in this wooded haven, while enjoying all the comforts of home including internet. The home is located within 15 minutes of the Ludington State Park and the award winning beaches. It is also about 20 minutes from the Manistee National Forest and Downtown Ludington.
Pets allowed, 1 pet max, $125 Pet Fee
Bunk set has full size mattress on the bottom and twin size on the top. There is also a futon in the living room for additional sleeping accommodations. Central Air now provided!

We had a great time in Ludington at Dave’s Comfy Cottage. The cottage was clean and spacious. Big kitchen with all the amenities. Nice size refrigerator and freezer. The bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable. Woods surrounding the cottage and very quiet. Nice location. Backyard was great for campfires and games. We fished on Hamlin lake about seven days. The fishing was great for small mouth Bass and largemouth Bass. My girlfriend caught a 6 and 7 pound fresh water drum. We launched the boat at the State park which was only 8 minutes away. Nice boat launch and a beautiful State park. We also walked many trails on Lake Michigan. Some awesome views of the dunes and lake. Would of liked to have had an outside water source at cabin with hose. We were able to park our 19 foot bass boat at the cabin and there was an outside electric plug in for the boat batteries which was awesome. Beautiful area, we would come again!

My husband, grandsons and I enjoyed our stay at Dave's Comfy Cottage. The location is perfect!! Peaceful, surrounded by trees and close to everything in the Ludington and Hamlin Lake area. Enjoyed the beach at Stearns Park, 4th of July parade and fireworks show. Wish we could have stayed longer!! If we visit again would definitely stay here. Guest instructions said to load and run dishwasher before checking out but there was no DW. We did the dishes but had to buy our own dishwashing liquid. Otherwise everything else was well supplied. Could use some new pillows for the main bedroom, very flat and old. There were instructions on how to open the door using the touchpad but not how to lock it again.

The cottage is the perfect place for a getaway. Secluded area to enjoy peace and quiet. But also a quick drive to both the sand dunes and downtown Ludington. We were able to bring our pup along with us which is always a plus. Highly recommend.
