Perfect location walking distance to downtown Ludington, enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time visiting this wonderful little town on Lake Michigan. The property was nice except for the fruit flys. We had the same issue last summer as well.

Clean, well maintained unit. Great location! Close to park, marina, beach and downtown. Enjoyed walking the marina to see the boats and watching the Badger come and go. Hiked the state park, boated on Hamlin Lake, soaked in sun at the beach...and rested pool side and enjoyed the hot tub. Great vacation!

Very nice Condo, clean and comfortable.

Short weekend get away for the Gus Maker. We had great weather and the heated pool and spa are a perfection addition.

Perfect location to the beach and downtown restaurants and shops! Property management are very responsive and helpful. Condo is spacious and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Would like to come back in the summer! Wonderful view and location. We could see the Badger and Spartan in dry dock from the balcony.

We were stuck with nowhere to go while we sold our house in Ohio and closed in Ludington while starting a new job. It was a nice quiet condo with all the comforts of home.

We really enjoyed our time in Ludington! This condo is beautiful and perfectly located to be close to everything. We were traveling with family members who are 89 & 90 years old, so the elevator from the garage level right up to the condo was so helpful to avoid all steps. We had plenty of space to all feel comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, so we could easily prepare meals ourselves or bring take out in. Thank you!

Very comfortable, clean, and close to downtown. Ludington State Park beach & view of the lake was spectacular. My father enjoyed it very much. My family and I were very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. It had everything we needed.

If I ever find myself going back to Ludington, I would definitely stay at this rental again. Even some of the neighbors were nice and helpful.

From the moment we arrived we were extremely happy. It’s gorgeous on the inside and out and had such a homey and beachy vibe to it. Everything we needed for the few days we were there was already on hand from and ironing board to garbage bags. Fantastic and highly recommend!!!

This was our second time in Mermaid Watch. We are very happy with the experience and will intend to come back again. We think that there may be a mold issue in the buildings.(??) We have allergy issues to mold so this affected us all. I certainly understand this next issue as you must have a lot of traffic in these units, but the furniture wasn't nearly as comfortable as it was last year. The repairs and construction was a bit of an inconvenience and the early morning noise was a bummer. Certainly there was a lot of repair and upgrades going on. I noticed last year it needed it. It will look very nice when done. Leaving was a huff as we had to carry all our stuff down the stairs because of the flood in the garage and elevators were turned off from the water issue. So we had some issues but will gladly come back anyway.

It was really nice condo walking distance to downtown. We had a hard time finding the building, there was no numbers on the building so to construction.

In town for work for all of October and this place was a great alternative to a hotel. This condo was very nice and clean! It comfortably accommodated our crew of 3. Will stay there again in the future.

Location is great for walking to restaurants, parks, and some of the attractions. The unit itself is well maintained and very comfortable. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Ludington is always a great place to visit in the summer but winter has its own fun, too! The New Years Eve ball drop and activities that go along are a whole new way to have fun. Espiecially when you come back to your condo and relax before the toasty fireplace! The location is great! Just park the car in the underground garage and walk everywhere. You can have all the adult beverages you want with none of the worries!

We love the location, the Mermaid Watch is very nice the Kitchen is a nice size. We have a few Complaints, they are very minor, if the owners would just spend a few dollars and put hand soap.Paper towels and a few other amenities. We will go back the children have so much fun.

Alway have a wonderful stay. This is our third time at mermaid watch. We have been coming to one Ludington place for five years now. Great location to downtown and beautiful beaches.

Our stay at Mermaid Watch Condo was the best vacation rental ever. So, clean, fully equipped, beautiful & great location. We met so many nice people there. The pool is fabulous, the cleanest pool I have ever seen. My family will definitely be back next year. What a wonderful place to stay.

Our group of 6 had an excellent long weekend in Ludington. Due to a family emergency we had to reschedule from New Years Eve. Nicole Smith was so understanding helping to get our reservation rebooked. Communication of information was excellent. The management company is very professional! Our group was very pleased with Mermaides Watch. The decor, floorplan, view, comfortable furniture and especially the spa like beds and linens were appreciated. You could not had a better central location. 2-3 blocks from all popular dining, microbrews, marina and beach. We will all definitely return to Mermaides Watch. Thank you for a great stay!

The Vacation for NYE was awesome. The Condo was well prepared and very nice and relaxing to stay at.

Mermaid Watch is a beautiful condo! Everything about it was wonderful----furnishings, comfort, cleanliness, location!

This is our 3rd year at mermaid watch we love that the playground is a few steps away for my grandchildren. We can be to a beach with in minutes we usually hit three in a week. We love the downtown area with all the wonderful shops and places to eat.

I wish I had been informed beforehand that getting wet is just about the only thing you'll be allowed. My grandchildren are far from rowdy or rude but were watched constantly and corrected. I don't think playing games in the pool is out of line, but apparently the pool police do.

Mermaid Watch is a very nice condo and One Ludington Place is in a fantastic location close to the park, municipal marina, and shops and restaurants downtown. This was our fourth time staying within this complex over the last several years. Unfortunately, over time, the rules for renters have become very extensive. It seems as though the environment at One Ludington Place has become much more of a retirement village than a community that welcomes families with children in it's rental units. The rules at the swimming pool are so restrictive that it is better described as a wade pool. Additionally, children are not permitted to be on the grass within the complex. Jumping rope, doing cartwheels, and hula-hooping are all out of the question.
While the complex has two grills that are available to both residents and renters, we encountered angry residents on more than one occasion who were upset with having to wait for us to finish using them. Offers to share the grill were extended but were declined with snarky comments.
I'm sad to say that we will not be returning to One Ludington Place for these reasons. If residents are irritated by families, not renting to them is always an option. However, as long as they continue to do so, I would encourage the residents to remember that renters have paid a fairly significant amount of money to share their beautiful home for a week and they should not be made to feel unwelcome.

This is my family's fourth year staying at one Ludington place condos. Two times at Mermaid Watch. Next year we will be staying there also. Had a wonderful time the condo is in a perfect view of Badger from the balcony. Quiet and peaceful. Short stroll down town. Mermaid Watch has everything you need to have a wonderful vacation.

Great...but the windows need dark blinds to keep the sun waking you up in the morning.

I rented Mermaid Watch, and it was the perfect place for my stay. It is within walking distance of the beach and downtown, and several of the great restaurants in Ludington. The view of the Badger is a great way to start and end the day. The condo is clean, well kept, and a perfect place to cozy in at the end of the day. The secured underground parking is a plus as well. Nikki at West Shore Vacation Properties was very helpful when I had a question or concern.

This is the second time I have rented in this building complex, but the first time I rented with West Shore Vacation Properties. The West Shore staff was lovely, but the unit was disappointing for the price. It was not clean. The master shower had a large amount of hair blocking the drain that had not been cleaned out. The middle bedroom had trash under the bed that had not been vacuumed out from a previous tenant. The blinds were dusty in some rooms. The pest control people need to be called. I killed three bugs in three different locations that were the same species. The refrigerator water filter needed changed. It was showing a red light that the water was not being filtered at all. The mattresses on the beds were very bad, with no support at all for my bad back. This was a completely negative experience form the one I had last year in a different unit. I do not feel the price I paid for the rental reflected the experience I should have had.

You never know what to expect from an internet posting for a vacation condo. so we saw this community online and decided to take a chance. We reached out to West Shore 5 months prior to our stay and our Agent Nikki was awesome. Answered all of our questions and then some. She also sent all of the after-hour check-in instructions prior to our stay and everything went very smooth. We have been to Ludington a number of times and always stayed in a hotel. Never again! This condo cost a bit more but there were 3 bedrooms and the stay was much better than expected. The condo was spotless upon arrival, there were upgrades in the bathrooms and kitchen, awesome pool, great view from the deck, secure private garage, and the location was very close to everything Ludington has to offer. Highly recommend West Shore Vacation Properties and the Mermaid Watch condo. We will never stay in a hotel again!

Have been renting at this property for six years and this was are best experience. Look forward to receiving are security deposit back in a timely fashion and coming back next year and many years to come.

Beautiful condo, and reliable WiFi. Easy to get to the downtown area. Only downside was the location of the room itself - on the back of the building with a so -so view and very small deck.

The mermaid was nice and clean and well appointed,everything you need is there,I didn't care to much for the view but that's OK because we have stayed at the complex other times and other units so we have seen the view before. I would have to say that our stay was good.

Really enjoyed our stay in your lovely condo. Was nice to have all the info about Ludington and their attractions and eatery's. Loved the fact we could walk to everything we wanted to do. The only time we used our car was to grocery shop and to get to the wedding ceremony and reception. Hope to visit again.

Our condo was all that and then some. Beautiful decor, tons of room and right in the middle of everything.

The condo was perfect for what we needed. My fiance and I stayed in the condo for the long weekend and on Saturday, we walked down to the park and got married. It was a beautiful ceremony and everything went perfect. The condo was just as perfect. The bridesmaids were able to come over and had plenty of space to do their hair and makeup and have fun. The beds were firm but comfy. The only minor issue we had was the drain in the one bathroom was going down slow but overall I would return to this condo in a heartbeat. Thank you for the great experience.

WE had a good stay and overall happy with condo.
Particularly loved the newer bed spread on master bed, small deck/patio,quiet neighbor hood, pool is in nice shape.
There are some structural issues like doors not closing tight, toilet paper holders loose, dryer takes a very long time to dry clothes.
But overall good stay, have been coming to Ludington for years and love it.

This is the first time we stayed in Mermaid Watch, but we have stayed in other rentals from LPM. Our experiences are always awesome! We will turn to LPM for our next Ludington vacation. True to the description,this condo is very comfortable, and cheerfully decorated. The Grandkids quickly learned to listen for the Badger, and it was always an event to look out the window and watch it dock. The park and playground across the street were favorites of the kids. And the beach of course. Next to Hawaii, Ludington has been my favorite vacation spot for years. One Ludington Place is some of the finest vacation rental properties in town. We enjoyed being close to the beach, and town. We enjoyed the Fourth of July parade and fireworks. We made a side trip to Traverse City for dinner at our favorite steakhouse. Boone's Lost Lake Inn. I have recommended LPM to friends and will continue to do so.

Fabulous location in Ludington for all of our activities. Great food, sunset, ferry, and enjoyed the 10pm curfew horn. Would definitely rent here again due to the location and amenities.

This condo was located perfectly and was extremely nice. The kitchen was VERY well stocked with pans and gadgets which was a plus. It would be even better if 2 night stays were allowed rather than a minimum of 3. A written checklist of instructions would be helpful - there were many "by the ways" in the check in process. Staff was very helpful overall.

Overall the Condo rental was nice. Our first stay in Ludington. The location was great, in walking distance to town and the marina/playground. The view could of been better, a distant view of the Badger and a parking lot. There is a firestation adjacent to the Condo which has automatic sirens set at noon and 10:00 pm, my infants woke up each night. We did not get our full security deposit back (we were charged for a piollow case & wash cloth), which was a little irritating considering there was a large stain on the carpet in the living room and the carpet meeting the wood floor was loose and a tripping hazard. Overall a nice place to vacation.

Committed to Ludington. We keep our boat nearby at Harborview Marina. This condo had a few issues so simple to fix: carpet tack strip around dining room floor comes through carpet and hurts to walk on it. Master bath shower drain slow to clogged. Not enough towels for 6 people--sleeps 8 with couchbed. Only 4 towels available. Very nice layout, comfortable & cozy. Pool cold (heater out of order) but excellent for lounging poolside. Walked to beach, grocery & restaurants.

We loved this place and reserved it for next year! The property needs some attention (Wore out carpet, stained furniture, cracking grout, and the need for many light bulb replacements) But I also understand how busy they are and it was the end of the season. I recomend Ludington Property Management!

There was finger nail in the master bedroom sheets that did not belong to anyone in our party. I would definitely recommend replacing the pillow shams in the queen size bedroom. They had blood stains on them. The bedskirt was stained as well. Are the bed spreads washed everytime a new party comes in? Other than that, we love staying at Mermaid Watch and this was our second year! Thank you so much. We look forward to next year as always!

This is a perfect spot for a vacation. Everything is so close and we loved watching the Badger come and go every day. Enjoyed the pool and our view.

We were very satisfied with all aspects of the rental and will definitely be back.

It would be beneficial to have deadbolts. My son kept escaping, and it could be a security concern for residents if the front door is unlocked, or the garage entrance is left open.

We had a wonderful vacation and will return next year for sure! The location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere! The condo was perfect for our family and was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the perfect view of the SS Badger from our balcony! Thank you!

The condo was beautiful, however the pool area wasn't satisfactory and that was an important component to us. The pool was not heated (as advertised) and the hot tub was not filled, had stagnant standing water and was not safely taped off. It was a very hazardous condition -especially for children.

WE LOVE THE MERMAID WATCH CONDO, THE POOL/HOT TUB AND LUDINGTON! We will be back in 2011.
