Marina Sunset - Luxury Family Condo

We had another great month in Ludington Mi.

It was great.

Great time so far.

Our stay at the Marina Sunset Condo exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect. Our unit was perfectly clean and completely equipped with everything needed to unpack and relax. The staff was helpful and friendly. We will definitely return.

Had a blast.
We swam in lake Michigan and the pool.
Climbed a lighthouse, played in the park next door. Fished at the marina.
Had ice cream at House of flavors.

Our vacation in ludington was a great time for the whole family

These Condos are very beautiful . I love that it has a great view of the Marina. I love that it has a swimming pool and Hot Tub.

Absolutely loved staying here. The condo was spacious, had an amazing view and was in a great location. The property manager was very helpful when we made the reservation and while we were there. It was also so easy to access the condo when we arrived.

Wonderful! The unit was so much better than we expected! Comfy bed, great views -- loved seeing the SS Badger from our room, and HEARING it leaving so we could watch. Loved being able to walk to town. Loved the garage.

Great property and great people to work with. Nikki and Curtis are outstanding. We had a wonderful time.

We have been renting this condo for 10 years. Everything you need to cook with is supplied in the condo. I love cooking in the kitchen and looking out to the marina. Perfect location, beautiful condo. Walk to the beach, the lighthouse, downtown shopping. The grandkids love the pool and the playground next door. Watching the ferry go in and out is one of my favorites. Nikki our rental agent is very responsive.

Hard to locate property(no numbers on outside)lights needed light bulbs, pillows like pancakes(had to buy new ones), outside noise late & early(not well sound proofed, internet sporadic(only worked in dining area), microwave had hole in it, no black out window treatment, dryer took 180 min to dry, elevator broke twice, had to wait to let in heating man or let room unlocked, pool closed which was not stated in contract, & now can't get deposit back. Very disappointing

Improvements... I called the mgmt company re: the hot water but never halt any call back! Also, perhaps investing in some new pots and pans. Cooking was a bit of a challenge.

Love Marina Sunset! Beautiful condo. Been renting since 2011. Love the new carpet and furniture. Lots of games, cookware, etc. Great location. Property Management company (West Shore~Nikki) is fantastic. Manager on duty on site employed by the association isn’t friendly to renters!

We had a great time. Leaking disposer but not a problem. Carpets could use a cleaning or replacement. just suggestions not complaints.

There were 6 women in this condo and it was perfect for us! Of course you wish every bedroom had a great view, but it worked out great, very comfortable!! We were there in the fall, so not too busy - we will definitely be back!!!!

We had one of the greatest vacations ever! The condo was amazing, great views and enough room for the entire family. Used the pool and hot tub every day and loved them. Great parking and walking distance to everything we would love to come back. Thanks for an amazing time.

Priceless memories! Loved the view of the harbor and our early morning walks around the walking loop. Condo is perfect location for walking into town or a nice hike to the lighthouse. Ice cream is just down the street and nice restaurants everywhere. The condo was stalked with toys for the grandchild and good space for all 8 of us. We Love Ludington!

We loved our stay in this spacious and clean unit. The set up was very kid friendly (minus the kitchen table being bar height and with a class top) but also was enjoyable for the adults - master bedroom with private bath, balcony for sunset appertifs, and a convenient laundry room for a wuick wash of swimsuits. Underground parking and an immaculate pool and clubhouse equipped with outdoor grills and seating areas. We were very sad to leave Ludington and our view of the marina and the Badger arriving and departing throughout the day.

We are return visitors and have always found the accommodations very satisfying

The condo is lovely, well-appointed and the location is ideal. This was our 5th stay in this complex but the first in this particular unit. Definitely the nicest of those we've rented. Suggestions for improvement would be for more bath towels to accommodate 6 guests, and pillows are worn - need to be replaced.

We loved everything about this vacation. The condo is even more luxurious than the photographs show. Very well appointed and we loved spending several evenings hanging out there after dinner.

One Ludington place has a great location. Near beach, town and Marina.
The complex is very well maintained and has underground parking and a beautiful pool area , hot tub and gas grills. The Homeowners Association is rather picky and has rules that are not accommodating for families. No one under the age of 12 is allowed in the hot tub!
Marina Sunset has a wonderful view but I would not recommend the property to any friend or family because the carpet is very worn and dirty, the couches in the living room need cleaned.
If the homeowner would complete maintenance work on the unit, I would highly recommend this property to anyone

This condo was ideal for us. Plenty of room for our daughter & her friend, my son, as well as my husband & me. The view over the marina was spectacular! Plus, we could walk most everywhere. Even the state park and nearby winery were less than a half hour drive. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. We really enjoyed barbecuing and eating outside. And that pool...WOW. Thank you,Chris Pontz, for patiently explaining all we needed to know. You're such a nice man--and funny. We're returning next year! (Did I mention excellent restaurants & shopping?)

The property location is perfect, the management company is wonderful.
It was that particular unit that was in very bad condition. The carpet was filthy and you wouldn't want your family to sit on the furniture. We will go back, but will not go to that unit. Apparently the owners do not care about the condition of there unit,

relaxing!

The cleaning person(s) are not doing a good job. The garbage disposal made a loud noise which I discovered was because of the presence of a piece of wire (probably from the tie of a bag of ice. I was able to remove the wire; however because of the lack of use of the disposal we had fruit flies that were hatching out in the disposal every day. Unfortunately I did not figure out the source of the fruit flies for several days!

Very pleasant, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Plus the The Hamlin Restaurant was open Thanksgiving day offering a traditional holiday buffet.

Great location for Bridal Party. The Bride and her wedding party were able to relax and get ready together before the wedding.

This location is perfect for our family, the playground is walking distance. All the beaches are beautiful very clean and safe. All the wonderful stores in downtown Ludington are walking distance, every year we discover something new. We look forward to our vacation in Ludington every year.

Its was over all was great experience. Relaxing, great views. We had a blast on the fishing chater. I'll be bringing our children back soon. They would love watching the S.S Bagger coming in to port.

Great experience. We did it all, shopped, eat, spent time at the beautiful state park, walked the pier and watched boats come and go. Highly recommend this property.

We have visited the Ludington area for years, but this was our first time to stay in a condo.

Marina Sunset was the ideal place for our family reunion. The view is spectacular; the condo is beautiful--and we could walk to so many places (including the beach and House of Flavors).

Our family (7 in total with three 8 year olds) have been staying in one of the condos for the last four years. It is perfect for us. Every year we hate to leave. The first year the kids came we just rented motel rooms. No comparison. The condo provides much more convenience and a closer family experience.

Great Vacation in a great spot!

This was our third stay in the Marina Sunset condo, because it is *the* ideal place for a family to stay in Ludington. The 3 bedroom condo is spacious, well-equipped, comfortable, and has fantastic views of the Municipal Marina and channel so you never forget that you're on vacation. We especially love the king sized bed in the master bedroom, which is hard to find in other accommodations. The pool is lovely, clean, never too crowded, and it's a great alternative for both kids and adults when the lake is too cold or windy. The grilling area is convenient, as is the underground parking with elevator up to your condo (very helpful for unpacking your car's luggage and groceries). The condo complex is situated perfectly in town, with so many fun and worthwhile things within walking distance -- The House of Flavors Ice Cream, shopping downtown, many fantastic restaurants, bookstore, coffee shops, 2 marinas, the Harbor Walking path, Friday Night Live on select Fridays in the summer, excellent playground, and the Badger Carferry port. The kind and helpful folks at Ludington Property Management are a pleasure to deal with, we have been happy renters of theirs for 6 summers now. We have recommended them to several other famillies and everyone keeps coming back year after year. Ludington is a great vacation destination for famillies -- there are countless things to do outdoors, it doesn't take a long time to get to where you want to go, it's not too crowded, it's beautiful and pristine, and it's very family-friendly. And if you stay in the Marina Sunset condo you are in the perfect spot to experience it all!

From the very beginning (way back in January) dealing with property management, everything went smoothly. You never know how a place is going to actually look when you book on the internet. This was actually nicer in person than the pictures showed. The location is perfect. In the middle of everything. You can walk to town, walk to the lighthouse, the playground was wonderful for my 20 month old granddaughter. Overlooking the marina, watching the ferry go in and out. Just perfect!

Condo location was prefect. Near a playgound for grandkids. Near restaurants to walk to. Three blocks from shopping. Enjoyed watching the Badger come & go as well as overlooked the marina. Enjoyed walks in the mornings and evenings. Access convenient. Beds comfortable. Appreciated 2 full baths. Kitchen nice. Appreciated the toys and games.

We absolutley love this Condo. The view is amazing. The furnishings offer a comfy kinda home like feel. Which is greatly appreciated! We have really enjoyed out time so far. Thank You!

Best location at L1 that we have had yet. Would have been nice to have more trash bags, soap, and paper towels, but otherwise no complaints.

Excellent location; beautiful view from the condo; extremely comfortable living space; would absolutely do it again!

We stayed in #20 2 years ago and there is no comparison. #20 had better furniture and furnishings and was just a lot nicer. In Sunset Marina the bunk bed room is not appropriate for anyone to use as a bedroom. We had arguments over who would use that room--so we had to use the sofa instead!!!!Also, the kitchen was very poorly equipped. It was clean and as always the location is great!!!

our stay at this condo was very enjoyable, it could not be any better . We enjoyed the whole time we were there. My daughter wanted to pack the condo and view up. There was only two things that would have made our stay a little better ,and that was you could only park one vehicle in the garage, and we could not get on the internet, but that was OK that was minor.Thank you again for a very nice time, everyone was real comfortable.

We lived at One Ludington Place from December through May and loved it. Great place to live and great place to spend a quiet winter. We met so many new friends.

We've spend the winter in Marina Sunset. It is beautifully furnished and equipped and has one of the best views of the lake and marina. We'll be sorry to leave next month but plan to return next winter.

My wife and I decided to "winter over" at One Ludington Place. We have been extremely happy with our condo and the great views of the harbor and Lake Michigan. We are especially pleased that the condos are within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants in downtown Ludington.

We are generally very happy with this condo; great view, nice floor plan, generally good appointments and furnishings. Good beds and plenty of great dishware and cookware. It would be nice to have more lighting in the great room area including either another table lamp or, better yet, a floor lamp at the south end of the couch. While it doesn't affect us during the winter too much, the pigeons (and pigeon poop!) on the deck are very uninviting.

For 6 adults it need more chairs in living room had to use lawn chairs. DVD player not working dics skipping. small details overall it was fantastic

We were given a different condo than the one I had chosen in January, but I guess it was comparable. We were disgruntled at the fact the 'wireless internet' was in the clubhouse and NOT in the condo, also the only BBQ grills (2) were down at the poolside. I guess we are use to having all the ammenities as listed on the webpage, at the condo, not somewhere else - a little deceptive. We finally figured out that our main living room TV only had a DVD player remote, so first off we couldn't figure out how to turn on the TV and then could not adjust the volume on the TV. I guess they only use the DVD??? and don't watch TV. Only minor inconviences, but noteworthly. The elevator was great! The view was fantastic.

The condo I stayed at had absolutly everything a person could need or want. Not only was my unit breathtaking but it had all the warm details of a home. I needed a place for three months and I felt right at home the minute I moved in. I would move back there in a heart beat if the need ever came about. Our boys really loved the bunk beds, and the games provided. The condo is beautiful. Just a few issues: We only had enough hot water for one short shower, but there were four of us who needed to take showers. Also, no dishwasher soap was provided. We also had to purchase our own toilet paper and tissue boxes.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ludington. The town was charming, the pace was relaxed, the weather was beautiful. Our condo made it a luxury vacation. It was decorated so nicely, had everything we needed and plenty of room for our 4 kids to spread out. We had a wonderful time - on our best vacations yet!

This is a great place to Vacation the Condo is first rate with a great view of harbor and lake. You are walking distance from everything.The management is very friendly and helpful. I have rented in other cities before and I have never found a place as nice or comfortable. Everything you need is there.
