A Place for Paws

Perfect house for us and our two Golden Retrievers to spend the weekend in Ludington. Clean, comfortable, well appointed, fenced yard, great location, and feels like home.

We loved everything about this house. It's clean and comfortable, has great amenities and is close to anything and everything cool in Ludington. And our dog also loved walking the great neighborhood and laying in the sunny, secure, fenced backyard.

Great stay for our family! Plus our two medium sized dogs loved hanging out in the backyard and around town. Great access to everything local. Property management is top notch! We had an excellent stay, thanks so much!

Walking distance to beach, parks, shopping. House was clean and perfect size.

It’s a wonderful house/place for us and our two Golden Retrievers, in a quiet neighborhood with a great vibe. Some nice updates to the bathrooms since our last visit too. It has everything we need, feels like home, and is close to everything in town and the lake. Nikki is one of the best property managers I have ever worked with. Once again, we cannot wait to come back!

Adorable house with great location! Walking distance to town and the beach. Well equipped kitchen. Cozy clean home with very comfortable bedrooms. Covered porch was great for rainy moments to still be outside. Loved having the beach items including wagon. Enjoyed the fenced yard and blankets for our dog. A very well thought out rental for families and pets.

It’s a charming and comfortable historic home a short walk from the city beach, the marinas, and all the shopping and dining Ludington has to offer. I have to say this was also the best appointed private rental we’ve ever experienced. Anything we needed was there (and that includes dog stuff)! Speaking of dogs: The backyard is fully fenced and very secure. You might just want to keep an eye on high jumpers.

Everything was very nice at this property. Very clean and well appointed. A nice and comfortable stay for our family of 4 and dog. Location right in the middle of everything Ludington. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved the house, very comfortable, clean, and a great location for us and our Goldens. In addition to a great house, West Shore Vacation Properties were the best to work with too, and our experience was so good we would specifically look for them to use again.

Everything was exactly as described and we encountered absolutely no problems or issues whatsoever. The house was clean, well stocked with all necessities and very comfortable. We would certainly choose this location again, when in the area.

The house is very old. Lots of wood floor creaking. Definitely needs updating especially in bathroom. You can only shower as the water will not flow out of faucet to fill tub. Stairs are wood and are very slippery if you’re wearing just socks. Back yard needed mowing- we visited in July so mosquito’s were bad. It’s about 4 blocks to beach. 2 blocks to town. Location was good. I didn’t get my check in / code access and had to call to get that prior to arrival. Overall I would give it 3.5 stars. Not prefect but was average.

A Place for Paws was the perfect spot for our family of 6 plus 2 Doodles! Such a beat and quiet neighborhood that was still close to the Lake and delicious restaurants like House of Flavors. Our family had a wonderful time and can’t wait to stay here again!!

We loved our stay...BUT, for full disclosure, the pet fee is $100.00 per pet. It does not state that anywhere in the property description. With that being said, it was a wonderful property. We were very comfortable and it seems that the host has thought of everything.

A wonderful house for dogs and humans! Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful backyard, lots of room for everyone. The location was walking distance to downtown and to the lakeshore, and the neighborhood is safe and friendly. We hope to be back next year!!

The location was amazing, just 4 blocks from the beach, with easy access to all Ludington, has to offer! Upstairs didn't have central air which made it very warm at night, but the windows were open and it was cool at night which helped. Also only having one bathroom was a challenge with multiple families. Truly pet friendly with a great backyard.
